Hepatitis is a condition in which liver tissue becomes inflamed or damaged for any reason, affecting liver function. This can include viral infections, exposure to toxins, or drinking large amounts of alcohol. When liver inflammation is allowed to continue until it becomes chronic, it will cause scarring in the liver tissue that spreads throughout the liver, called cirrhosis, and there is a chance that liver cancer will develop as a complication.

No matter which type of hepatitis virus it is caused by, the symptoms will be similar, but less or more depends on the amount of virus the body receives and the patient’s original physical condition. The most common symptoms found include fatigue, tightness under the right rib cage, muscle aches, joint pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dark urine, UFABET, yellow skin and eyes. After about 1–4 weeks, the yellow skin and eyes will disappear.

Taking too much drugs or chemicals, using them incorrectly or indiscriminately will make the liver work harder, increasing the risk of hepatitis, such as taking more than 4,000 milligrams of paracetamol per day, taking drugs with alcohol, taking herbal medicines, vitamins or supplements that are not up to standard. Drinking large amounts of alcohol can cause acute or chronic hepatitis, which, if left untreated, can lead to other serious liver diseases.

This type of fatty liver disease is the result of lifestyle behaviors, especially eating foods high in fat and sugar, causing fat to accumulate in liver cells. Early symptoms are often unclear. If left untreated, it can lead to hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.

Self-care for hepatitis

  • You can exercise normally, but you should not overdo it during acute hepatitis.
  • You should get enough rest.
  • Taking any type of medication in consultation with a doctor.
  • When having surgery or dental work, always inform your doctor.
  • Sex with a condom.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol because it causes the virus to multiply more and causes liver cells to deteriorate faster.
  • Eat healthy foods and avoid high-fat foods.
  • Recommend that people close to you who live in the same house get a blood test and get vaccinat against Hepatitis A and B.
  • Avoid stress

Symptoms of liver disease in the early stages may not be easy to notice. That’s why we need to keep an eye out for abnormalities. If abnormalities are and treated early, it will help prevent liver disease from developing into a more severe stage. Furthermore, many causes of liver disease come from our own behavior, so we need to take care of ourselves and avoid risky behaviors to reduce the chances of severe disease.
